Group B

Mrs. Pratima Aryal is the owner of a software firm in Pokhara. Her Company is currently developing an AI- based fraud detection system for Everest Financial Services, a private bank. The client has given full creative freedom to Pratima’s team but has limited the project budget. During the final testing phase, Pratima’s team identifies a potential vulnerability that could allow unauthorized users to manipulate financial transactions. Fixing the issue would require an additional NPR 500,000, which the client is unwilling to spend.

Despite repeated warnings from Pratima about potential fraud risks, the bank’s executives insist on launching the system as it is. Pratima faces a dilemma; whether to proceed as requested by the client or delay the launch until proper security measures are implemented.
