Job Description
Role Overview:
Purnima Construction Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Assistant to join our Human Resource Department. The Senior Assistant will play a key role in supporting HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working in a dynamic construction industry environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all documentation is completed.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Payroll and Attendance Management:
- Assist in processing payroll and ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, and deductions.
- Monitor employee attendance and leave records.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain and update HR databases, employee files, and other documentation.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees.
- Track employee training progress and maintain training records.
General HR Support:
- Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager as needed.
Job Specification
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the construction or related industry.
- Certifications: HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRMS, payroll systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling employee data, payroll, and documentation.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address employee concerns and resolve issues efficiently.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
