Job Description

Role Overview:
Purnima Construction Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Assistant to join our Human Resource Department. The Senior Assistant will play a key role in supporting HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working in a dynamic construction industry environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all documentation is completed.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Payroll and Attendance Management:

  • Assist in processing payroll and ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, and deductions.
  • Monitor employee attendance and leave records.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain and update HR databases, employee files, and other documentation.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees.
  • Track employee training progress and maintain training records.

General HR Support:

  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager as needed.
Job Specification

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the construction or related industry.
  • Certifications: HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
  2. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRMS, payroll systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
